Right Instinct, Wrong Idea

A B+ is you got the instinct right but the idea wrong. And so you're getting enough signal back that it's right to keep going even though the idea isn't quite right.

The easiest is you see somebody else doing something very close that is proving your instinct.

Instinct is the direction of travel. But I'd add two more i's to steer by: intuition (your OODA loop) and ideals (your why).

Ideas are the odd one out.

They're seductive. And, to paraphrase David Ogilvy, they tend to get used "as a drunkard uses a lamp post for support, rather than for illumination".

Keep the instinct. Fire the ideas like bullets and see what comes back.
