The expected GLP-1 story is one of subtraction: less appetite, less food, less alcohol, less consumption.

But the unintended second-order effect may be substitution.

GLP-1 users report trading up across every category surveyed. Fitness and wellness products: +51% net. Beauty products: +35% net. Clothing: +33% net. Alcohol: +31% net.

Instead of disappearing, maybe appetite becomes more discerning?
